Lyrics
there she sits in her chair - she says not a word but she knows that I'm there. watching the world through her eye - you tell me she's fine, but I know that's a lie.
the lamplight climbs up the wall - the shadow is rising up ten feet tall. she doesn't say much to me now. she speaks with her eyes and I follow somehow.
so if my life is fine - give me a sign so that I might believe it. to pacify my mind - I'll turn off the light, let the darkness leave me blind.
Bonnie's been gone for a while - she came with a cry, but she went with a smile. kissed me goodbye with a grin - but it doesn't do much for the state I'm left in.
so if my life is fine............etc.
life is fine.
my life is fine.

your one of my favorites. There's always a story, openings for
interpretations and deeply wedded to the progressions. Again, a fine
vocal performance and a strong hooky chorus. You write some fab
tunes.
