This is about how digital clocks haunted me for several years.
This composition is very numerical. Several things that count out beats are definitely on purpose. I also found that by layering several echoes, you can form other entirely different phrases, which in this case are eerily apropos.

the voice-over reminds me of the Residents' "kiss of flesh." interesting
theme and a good song overall.
