OK, now I can hear the various instruments you had hiding in there. I
like the orchestration ideas you have in here with the brass, violins,
flute. The part for piano for 3 hands is a little unusual... but the lilting
waltzy melody is so nice that nobody will notice the extra arm of the
pianist. The main thing I noticed is that the various parts get a little
out of sync with each other here and there, where the flute
countermelody doesn't quite line up with the piano melody, and the
strings and guitar lag here and there... but that is a hard thing to line
up when playing each part "live" like you're doing. In some ways, it
sounds more realistic, like a real band trying to sight-read your piece.
Anyway, this is really charming, and worth working on, I love it
(otherwise I wouldn't critique it so much :-)
And thank you for visiting and commenting on my music too!
Oh, and I am sure the reason you deleted the prior version of this was
because I left that terribly bad joke on it as a comment... I promise not
to do that on this version! :-)
