Description:
This is a simple worship song written by a friend of mine, Steve Carter. He asked if I could arrange and record it, and I had a LOT of fun. He sings the lead vocal. Background vocals and all guitar is me. Other instruments are MIDI set up by me in Band-in-a-Box.

This is my first try at recording the electric guitar. I've usually been a rhythm player and don't usually do lead, but I was pretty happy with the results.

Hardware:
Brian Moore iGuitar i88-13 through a Behringer Vintager amp recorded through my CAD e100 mic. Rest is my usual setup: Hohner Ebony acoustic guitar, CAD e100 mic, Behringer mixer, Edirol UA-30 interface, iMac G5

Software:
GB 2, Band-in-a-Box 12

Nice Piece &mdash 09/20/06 - 04:47:54 PM
Enjoyed this... very relaxed... a portrait of your relationship with God. Loved the vocals, backups and all. You have a nice voice. Rhythm guitar and bass are right on... maybe back down a bit on the lead... it's nice and compliments well with your vocals, just a bit up in the mix. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful and... &mdash 09/20/06 - 09:40:06 PM
edifying. Some great guitar licks and the vocals sing the words from
the heart. Can we ask for anything more?

A voice of love &mdash 09/23/06 - 05:47:08 AM
You are truely a great singer. There is love in your voice.

The sound of the lead guitar contrasts to the tenderness of the tune
though. Contrast isn't faulty in itself but this one is getting somewhat
harsh. Texas suggests maybe backing down a bit. I could also suggest
maybe another smoother guitar sound.

Altogether a wonderful song though!

Yes...nice and worshipful song. &mdash 09/25/06 - 11:00:23 PM
Nice vox by Steve. Indeed, where would any of us be? As for your first
venture into electric guitar: Tom, your playing cannot be faulted. But
Curry is right, the TONE is much too harsh for this piece. But that is my
only nit. All in all a great bit of tuneage.

God bless!
