Nicely done &mdash 09/20/06 - 01:25:16 AM
good mix, tune: lacks one particular 'hook' or return part for me .. it
meanders a bit too much for my tastes. Lovely sounds all the same.
Only nit picks for me were: the finger-click was a bit loud (nice touch), the
sounds that fast panned got a bit tiring after a while and the crabs
seemed to be speaking frog .. but I would check with Skean for a second
opinion about that.

I think overall it is very good all the same and I wouldn't bother with
these things I mentioned.

I agree &mdash 09/20/06 - 07:29:32 AM
But I like this sort of tunes....I think you can use one or 2 track more with beats
too have more rhythm and a little change in the tune....I often use 2 track when I
do drums and my break beats I use 3-7 some times maybe more.
Great tune.....but it can be better.

Kenta:)

Not bad overall &mdash 09/20/06 - 05:22:07 PM
Not bad E/L, it's just not smooth - it has a sort of a disjointed feel to it. It
has some fun stuff, though.

nice groove... &mdash 09/20/06 - 06:53:19 PM
...to it.

lots of variety and great effects. only one slight complaint: it seemed to
just kinda of bar hop through the coolest parts of of the city. but, perhaps
that what it is: a night on the town!

i like your new name too

thanks!

Crabbish would work! &mdash 09/20/06 - 08:53:33 PM
Nice keys and sounds in general Robert. This would be great
soundtrack music - apb's "hook" comment makes sense - sounds like
it needs maybe a female voice (just talking maybe) to add a bit more
interest. Generally though I really like what you've done her. It
certainly moves along very well and has lots of interesting bits and
pieces.

although i understand how others want this 'tightened', it plays to me
more like freeform fun. and with a piece based as tightly around the drum
and bass facet, you can so get away with it. it conjures up metropolitan
energy and improvisation, play and a kind of cool that makes me think of
beat, yet without the cheese.

So HERE is where it happened... &mdash 09/30/06 - 01:55:22 PM
...the change of persona that is. Nice beat and bass groove. Interesting
textured effects. One suggestion (and I know this isn't easy with loops):
try a major change-up for the mid-section with a return to the main
theme for the outro. Still, very nice work.

Be well!
