Very, very nice
It's a gorgeous tune to begin with, but you really deliver a nice performance here. You call this "wobbly"? LOL - oh to be that unbalanced in my own music! Question for you - what kind of mic are you using and what are you doing to get such rich EQ? I could learn a thing or two in that regard. Definitely good to have you here at MacJams!

Lots of interesting stuff
Cool sounds, sounds like you are using a macbook to record your stuff.
Not sure but your getting a lot of static in the beginning and that is the
result of not having a good mic. Doesn't cost too much $100.00 or so,
but another thing it could be is not having a pre amp. I use a Tascam
122 interface for the pre amp and that really cut down in the static. I
was using a Berhinger mixer (about $300) a few years ago. And that
gave me lots of static and a bunch of people harped on me until I got
wise and used a Tascam 122 interface. You can get em used for a bout
100 bucks as well.

You have nice sounds, but I recommend getting a good mic if you have
one and an interface like a Tascam 122.

Do those two things and you are on your way:)

I'm with thetiler...
...AND with dreadmon, too, of course...

I think you have a nice feel for this tune, and nice phrasing... I think
this could be better recorded with a preamp and/or interface and a
better mic... (Is this done with the built-in mic?)... You're getting a bit
of hiss....

I recommend one of the Focusrite Saffire interfaces, or the Line 6
Toneport USB interfaces...

Let those last notes ring out, and bring down the fade at the end a
little slower... that last bit of tone makes a difference...

Nice to hear this kind of playing on MacJams...

Thanks
Thanks for your input, right now I'm looking at the M-Audio USB preamp, mainly
cuz it's in my price range. Any experience with it? I have a lot to learn on the
electronics end, so any (detailed!) response on recording in general would be
much appreciated. Thanks again!
