Description
Sweet old tune that Doc Watson plays, think he got from Merle Travis.

Another great performance
Like your last one, this is also beautifully played. There are some
fabulous acoustic guitar players on this site and you've joined their
ranks easily. Fantastic!

Nice enjoyed it
Like the folk feel. Like the Chet Atkins style with the bouncy bass thumb
technique. Thanks for posting!

I'm definitely a fan...
...a fan of raw, acoustic guitar, especially when played well (like this)!!

Thought about a backup guitar track...
But didn't really think it would fit, or couldn't find anything that sounded right.
Any ideas?

I'll bet you could get....
...a very neat collaboration going with Cori Ander or thetiler or McBoy or...

Work out a two-part thing and pass files back and forth...

This has a nice, relaxed, even lazy pace that suits the tune... Nicely played
and recorded...

Great pickin'
Sweet performance. My only gripe is the mic noise. You definitely have some talent, and kep the time so well.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks
Thanks very much. I've been getting so many comments about mic noise and general recording quality, I'm getting closer and closer to getting that preamp. Just as soon as I'm sure a check will clear...

Thanks again to everyone for the comments.

I hope you know...
... that all us keyboard players admire a guy sitting down with a guitar
picking something as sweet as this. We wish we could do this.

Thanks for this beautiful, traditional, genuine piece of music. I hope you
continue to submit material here.

Nice tune and a great touch
there's a slight volume drop - but it made me listen closer and seemed to suit the mood. Really enjoyed this - thanks for posting.

Great!
Great by all means, 2 of my most favorite artists. Well played and it sounds good to my ears though.

Take Care
