Lyrics
Oh Mikayla sweet, we have longed for your coming
Now we behold this great mystery
For your life, my sweet bears the scent of the heavenly
We will praise this glorious deed

Oh life, oh beautious anticipation
How many are your joys
A burning ember fluttering into our waiting hearts
Brings illumination and warmth

We pray life and love and all that is wonderful into everyone of your days
May your hands burn bright with the fires of healing
And your journey led by His gaze

Nostalgic Sound
I love the music and voice, some heartfelt notes emerge in the mix after
the intro and it creates a magical moment just like the instrumental after
the 1st break. The only thing I wouldve done different is changed the
reverb settings to my own taste, not necessarily lower them but just
change them a little, but thats my producing style so nevertheless
excellent recording!

Wonderful
The writer James Agee wrote (paraphrasing here) "Hope is reborn with
each new child." You've said the same here musically in such a beautiful
way. All I can say is this song introduces Mikayla to the planet in an
awesome way. Lovely tune and lovely sentiment in the lyrics.
I have to say I started this song and flipped to another open page to do
something else and this song stopped me and I had to turn back to listen
more closely. My only criticism is that there seems to be a slight hiss on
the vocal track. If you can get rid of it that would be a plus. But a terrific
job nonetheless.

Beautiful
You have such a soft beautiful voice. The song kind of reminds me of
Sarah Mclachlan. I really love that flute and piano. Great work.

Amazing
What a terrific song. The vocals and musicianship are outstanding. I play celtic on guitar all the time and am very familiar with the genre'. You did a wonderful job. You should be very proud.

My only criticism is I think there is too much reverb/echo on the overall sound. It sounds like you are too far from the mic in a large empty room.
It is only a minor thing though. Amazing work!

Beautifully sung...
...and a gorgeous arrangement on piano and flute - I wish I'd grown up knowing that someone had written such a lovely song about me!
