Description
Audio for the "Nekophilia" video. I had thought the cat people worked like vampires and, if bitten by a cat person, one would simply turn into a cat person. However, I have since discovered that the cat people do not convert humans, instead they eat them. As someone who starts out human in this video, my prospects are not good.

Watch those fangs
Cool tune, Alan, fitting for a Cat People video. I do wish the guitar and drum tracks had a little more bite. The swirling synths sound very cool and sleek, like a night predator. Very nice.

Thanks for your perspective
I chapped the guitar pretty far back as I didn't want to overwhelm the synth chords with it. I'm not quite ready to shoot the video as we're still putting the storyboard together (e.g. do the big game hunters end up in the stewpot or as sex slaves of the cat people...decisions, decisions!). I'm sure I'll play with the drums some more and I'll see what I can do to give them some more punch.

THanks.

Raining Cats and Dragons...
Nice tune there. The synths are OK, but maybe need a little more
character and need to be dropped back slightly, to let your growly guitar
protrude a little more, maybe alternate pulling synths and guitar forward/
back for a bit more variation... does have the makings of a dark gothic
movie backdrop though. Of course, being of the "Cat People" persuasion
myself, I will now have to make a point of flying to RI to visit you
sometime soon... better finish up that video before "dinner".

Epic!
Well it's about time! Great tuneage Alan. The synth succeeds* in being
incredibly ominous yet hopeful. A fine piece of prog rock, this. Loved the
drum work throughout as well.

Be well!

Welcome home : )
Nastassja Kinski was just great in Cat People .... but that's another
story! I think this fits the feline world for sure - I agree with David
about the drums and guitar (mainly the drums). In fact, maybe just
dropping the synths back a bit and an overall boost in volume would
have the desired effect. Nicely done.
