Lyrics
under the moon, under the stars - a child is dreaming. on a windswept night, it's a breathless flight - with eyes a-gleaming. the vision is bright, he smiles at the sight - and dreams of flying. away from the rain, away from the pain - of a life that's cold as night, cold as night.

wild is the wind - and frightening is it's might. the breeze is bound to set you free - like a bird.......like a bird in flight.

under the moon, under the stars - the world is weeping. a peaceless place, rests from the pace - it's been keeping. the child breathes a sigh, he's wondering why - the world is weeping. he sucks on his thumb, and flies away from - a world that's cold as night, cold as night.

wild is the wind.........etc.

under the moon, under the stars - a bird is FLYING. away from the rain, away from the pain - of a life that's cold as night, cold as night.

wild is the wind.......etc.

nailed it
great job. you got all the elements in there. sounds like a lot of layers
going, obviously you put some into this and i think it paid off. liked the
short "FLYING" vocal mix in there.

brings it back
creative and hip. absolutly loving the chorus. and then the guitar tags
the end of it, back into the verse. really top shelf and crazy inventive.
like moody blues with the late sixties beatles. this is sooo cool.

Woohoo!
This was fun to listen to! I like the song over all, but I thought the drums
were a little too low in the mix. Perhaps using the "Drum Refresh" thingy
would have helped. It rocks overall, though, dude.

I recognize that laugh
Brian, cool tune. Nice uke accents. I really liked the Brian chorus
bringing up the rear. And the effect on the voices. Lots of stuff to grab
my interest, just makes me want to listen again.

As always great job.

I just finished a 9 song collection of songs for a wedding (sound familiar).
All covers so unpostable, but it turned out well.

Unreal
Great piece, extremely unique sound in my opinion, and unreal production and levels.

I think I was there : )
Nice retro feel for sure here Brian - so Beatlesque with that backward
guitar and the sitars - just waiting for you to break into the Hey Jude
"nah nah nah na na na nah" line towards the end. Sitar sounds so
reminiscent of "Within You and Without You". Clever cooncept very
well pulled off.

Psychodelic
Aside from the retro 60s sound, this is a solid song. Even the lyrics are
very reminiscent of late 60s lyrics. Enjoyed the trip back. I think Sgt
Pepper would enjoy the salute you've given him.
