Song Description
Some more thoughts from long ago, about Man killing the last Whale.
I recently travelled back to the same place where I first contemplated this thought, and it seemed even more real now than it did before. Although the method may have changed...
~~~ notes ~~~
I recorded/sequenced this sometime in 1995 entirely on a Roland XP-50. Here, I simply recorded the XP-50 playing it, plus a little multiband compression in GB.
I figured I better hurry before: 1. the battery in the XP-50 croaks, 2. nothing on the planet can read a diskette anymore, 3. no one knows what a svq file is
Morning Light
that day never comes.... this is very expressive, with the tension, of how it
would be to be the last whale........ I share your concern with life on this
planet, and species that are at the mercy of people without hearts.
Thanks for this post! The NightBird ~
