Description:
I have recently been going back and remixing some tracks I did for an ambient project last year...this one is based around a naively metronomic piano figure with improvised synth sounds added. It was formerly known as In Plain Sight but I prefer...View.

I think it has a bit of a Brian Eno 'Another Green World' kind of feel to it

key-fiddling! &mdash 10/02/06 - 04:28:41 PM
Another side to Mr Lang!! You do this with the same subtlety and class
as your guitar work Steve - very tasty piece of key-fiddling!

Thank You &mdash 10/02/06 - 06:04:17 PM
A good respite from my work day.
I like its matter-of-fact sense of equality/balance among the instruments.
Ifeel as though they are saying "I am here and this is what I sound like".
I'm not even sure I make sense .... :)

Cries for Frippertronic guitars,.. &mdash 10/02/06 - 08:17:28 PM
...now don't it?

Certainly making ME feel something of a sombre reptile on Fire Island
playing my sky saw...

A neat snippet...

Luscious &mdash 10/16/06 - 05:58:39 PM
Picking up on the AGW feel big time however the choice of percussion
loop takes this in another direction (a bit modern film noir to my mind).
Very lush and poised.

PS - I used that drum loop in 'Rubber Saxophone' but it didn't always fit
(the track wasn't particularly loop friendly) so I just thought "sod it"...

another nice track &mdash 04/14/07 - 11:39:12 AM
really nice stuff. this is beautiful, i'm a big fan of old-skool electronic/ambience/sound/tone poems/whatever you want to call it. i like the way you used the horns as a counter-melody.
