Beautiful .. lovely playing and vocals. Nice pop feel - reminds me a little of the Ben Folds Five... I agree it suffers a bit in the production front - but I like the spontaneous feel you've captured here and if you do rework it (as Neil suggests replacing/re-playing the piano parts on an electronic keyboard with good sound) - I would still start or leave the intro in this low-fi, as it has captured something you might never replace. If that was written because you were bored, I for one hope you get
bored more often. There are weaknesses in the recording (pianos are
so difficult to record live), but this has some potential for sure. If you
had a chance to use an electronic keyboard with a good piano
soundfont, I imagine this would be much more satisfying for you and
the listener.
