Description:
A song written by my friend Mike Coykendall as a ballad and updated to a power pop tune by me. Made during the time my cousin Ce Ce was leaving this world after losing her battle with Cancer. A song of hope and love.

Lyrics:
Hold on to a little slice of Hope
You've been up against the ropes
and looking like it's all gone bad

But yeah I know you'll find the strength
as long as life has any length
It's not too Late, you know it's not too late

Passed out, passed out on the street
someone ya might of liked to meet
someone you might consider a friend

we all know we all need more of those
the story book's about to close
It's not too late, you know it's not too late

So make love, make love your war
you've heard about it all before
but it works if you give it some time

Palm trees, palm trees in the sun
a little life for everyone
It's not too late, you know it's not to late

You know it's not too late.

not to late &mdash 10/06/06 - 08:09:24 PM
nice you that you see the positive of life under the circumstance you
mentioned. a little kinks/beatle style going. good song. only thing is the
distorted guitar are fighting for your vocal space. loved the solo also,
great energy!

Thanks Vic! &mdash 10/06/06 - 09:58:17 PM
I recorded this song just before getting word that she was terminal. It was a
strange thing and the song seemed to fit what all of us as a family were feeling.
I enjoyed doing that solo a bunch too! One day I'll learn how to properly EQ my
guitar to where it still has that edge and let's the voice shine through. Thanks
for stopping by!

A song with a hopeful message. We can all use that at times.

This is a great arrangement. Simple but everything is the way it needs to
be. Kudos to the bass player for playing more than just root notes and
still staying in character.

Wow! Thanks! &mdash 10/09/06 - 01:17:43 AM
Yeah, I'm the Bass player too. I once got kicked out of a band for not keeping to
those roots notes enough... LOL! But I'm a major Jamerson fan and he had the
same like to walk around with that instrument. Thanks for all the kind words!

Jamerson? &mdash 10/09/06 - 11:19:04 AM
Ok, that figures. I'm a James Jamerson fan too. My all time favourite bass line is
probably on Home Cookin' by Jr Walker. He just keeps that groove going single-
handedly. -- Victor.
