Another Good Production
All of your songs are well produced. They are interesting and have a fluid quality about them. I know you are using mainly loops, but your arrangements are good. This song also has a nice blend of instruments with a groovy key change.

Oh. I forgot to mention.....
All of the pieces I have uploaded, apart from 'For a Birthday Girl' (or some similar-sounding title) are ALL loops. No extra 'me' in them at all. I don't have any of my keyboards set up at the moment so can't play/record them if I wanted to.

All I do is chop and stretch and generally manipulate the loops until they (generally) fit together smoothly.

I work on up to 7 tracks at once (Drum, Bass, Guitar, Synth, etc.) for any particular phrase and, when that seems reasonable I then move onto the next phrase.

(If anyone wanted to listen to 'me' on a keyboard, they could listen to 3 or 4 piano improvisations (recorded on an open, crystal mike, so they're not high quality) that I uploaded to the icompositions web site. There are also pieces there that haven't appeared on Macjams because they were my earliest attempts at looping/mixing and they're worse than those I upload to here).

I enjoy creating music using computers and 'synthesized' as opposed to 'real' instruments. I have no problem using samples/loops in my music. Everyone does this every time they work with a track. I don't fit in any box and thoroughly enjoy working ou... [see more]
