Description:
I have another song on here called "Everybody's Got To Learn to Dance" which is about the first steps into love. This song is about enduring love which stands the tests of time and gets stronger in the process. It's recorded "raw" with no arrangement although I can hear a cello in there underneath the melody line and would like to hear this with accompaniment.

Classic &mdash 10/11/06 - 08:27:50 AM
Another excellent tune. Love the raw intimate feel. Love floats above
time, to be sure. I love watching the waves; maybe its becuz it is an
internal metaphor of the likes you speak, maybe its just becuz it pulls me
out of myself into into a larger space, or just relaxes me without ever
feeling like a waste of time. Like love, never seeming like a waste, at least
not while you're floating with it. The end game of living is so much
sweeter with romance. A gentle, touching, simple and true tune; well
performed. You are a classic. I just wish I could hear you smile, every once
in a while, in your singing. You sound so sad, like everything is a
memory. But, in other moods, you also sound resolved and satisfied. I like
listening to everything you do, like the ocean.

Great voice! &mdash 10/16/06 - 12:45:11 AM
You've got a great voice--very sincere, weathered, and just great for this song. Wish you'd posted the lyrics. I like the lo-fi approach--fits the mood well.

Down to the bottom &mdash 10/18/06 - 08:39:54 AM
One of the little gems that get easily overseen on a crowded site like this.

Once in a while, there comes along this song that is timeless, simple and
pure. It's just what it is and does not pretend to try something else, or
make more out of what it says. But what it says, is just right. Down to the
bottom of your heart.
