I posted this song earlier as a demo called Bounce.


This is just the second version of the song. I had to post this up. John is just incredible on this. John Libby(karmatoburn) blew me away with his soloing. His playing inspired me to make some changes to the demo. I do have another version of this song coming with John and a special guest MacJammer.

That's better. Some of the percussion is still a little abrasively scritchy,
but that may just be me (some kind of stick-hit thing at about the 1/2
mark along with the distorted guitar hits, for example.) Overall this has a
light bouncy feel, especially with KTB's touch... but that bass really
propels this along, and I'm glad to hear it better now. Nice work guys!
Interesting faux-ending too, caught me by surprise... was that supposed
to be there, or did an ET sound "excape"?

I changed it as soon as I read your comments.

I put all together while his is Japan. Hopefully he'll dig it to.

I have one more version of this song coming soon with another surprise MacJammer playing on it with KTB and me.

..from the two of you is an ability to make something groove while also
having a nice, melodic, musical feel to it...

I am deeply troubled by how much that graphic element looks like
Christopher Walken falling into a galaxy....

I love the round tone of the bass...

this is a nice melodic tune. i like the percussion.the bass is nice played.i
think a vocal or a guitar on it would make this track really great. after all
its allready a real nice song.

Great soundscape here. KTB adds just the right touch with his keys. I like
how you stopped the soundscape, about 3/5 through, right after the
rapid snare hits, to highlight KTBs riffs. And then that relentless groove
just slides right back in. Most excellent gentlemen. Looking forward to
the next evolution.

to give it a listen. Your right KTB just blew me away with his parts. The funny
thing is I was getting the impression he wasn't even thinking that his soloing
was that great. I told him to send those parts to me before he left the States.
Like I said earlier he still hasn't heard this mix yet.

I made this bed of music a while back but as soon as I got his parts. I wanted the
focus to be about him. I wanted the back ground to flow up and down with his
floating like melodic lines. KTB's playing really inspires me to be a better
musician and also to make my demo's better.

I just wrote a comment about how groovy and sexy your tunes seems to be ... and then this site broke down annd I lost the comment before I pushed the button. Anyway... they are, and I guess it has to do with you being a bassplayer, with focus on keeping the groove going.

The soloing is brilliant!
