it's my kind of song... &mdash 10/12/06 - 03:43:59 AM
with the exception of the dull sounding drums this is a great song. I
really like the foundation put under the vocals. Very cool song. Loved
it.

Nice layering of sounds, very evocative. I agree with BranDaMan about the drums though - need a bit of life. I got some drum loops from http://www.betamonkeymusic.com/Double_Bass_Mania.html
They are very sharp with lots of fills to play with.

I agree ... &mdash 11/27/06 - 03:48:49 AM
... to the 2 commentators above: Very good idea and foundation/song construction ... I surmise the great the song it could be, if your singing, drums and instrumentation could be just bit more powerful and lively. Otherwise: Respect for not using canned loops. Go on, man!

Dr. &mdash 12/22/06 - 02:39:11 AM
Dr. I love this cut. I love simple. I love no bass guitar. Un-encumbered, Direct. Great harmonies. I like the drums, but then I'm a lo-fi drum machine man, too. I think when you pare a song down to it's bare elements then you get to hear, and more importantly feel what it is really about. This song gives me courage to upload the simple stuff, not just all the flashy 16 track things I have been. Thanks for the guts.
