Okay, so this is just funkalicious with a side of groove and a heaping
helping of oh yeaaaaaaaah on top. I love the way it starts as though it's
going to be a straight up funk song, but then stutters into that big
dance beat. The title is a killer and I think it would be cool to have a
voice just saying that, "Dang, you're looking sexy," at some points in
the song. Maybe different voices, male and female. I think it would add
some spot interest that the song needs a little of to add some contrast.
This is, of course, another amazing mix and an amazing bass line by
Hectorious, you can't really lose when you start with that. I'm not
completely sold on the ending, but it's not killing me.

Love this stuff. I love to rock but there's definitely some funky streak in
my musical make up that resonates when I hear stellar examples of this
genre. Serious chops on display here, big fat bass groove. So damn tasty
in a hot n nasty way. The percussion is right on with the awesome bass.
Tricked out highlights with the synths. I'd agree with the comments
above, I think this one could benefit from a few additional touches. You
and Hector should slide this one by Ziti and KTB and see what comes out
the other side. Maybe LeDeb can lend her vox for her suggested vocal

I'm glad you like the sound I eventually came up with from Hector's bass playing. Originally, it was even trippier (with 2 more tracks of heavily effected bass), but I needed to thin out the mix to make it more coherent. Still, I'm pleased with the bass sound I wound up with, and I'm very glad you like it too. And glad you like the song art too, thanks!

The things you do are amazing. Hectorious had a super-smooth
groove thang, and you turned it up to 11! This is great! One of the
things you did was boost his bass more and really show it off, but still
add a bazillion kilojoules of PVelectronica... this is very good! And for
some reason, this really is sexy... I can envision the pictured one,
slightly more clothed, making jaws drop as she walks by. Uh, really
nice picture too, but I only glanced at it, I swear. Dangerously good
stuff! The ending is tricky, you have so much momentum going (sort
of like Dolly Parton in stilletos?) that it's hard to stop... The ending was
good, but might be made better... but I have no idea how. Ledeb's
idea of a voice-over here and there is interesting, and the ending could
be a sigh or "mmm-Mm!" etc... dunno, pretty amazing as-is. Kudos to
both David and Hector!

Yes, Hector's bass playing was sweet; I had to boost it to 11 and emphasize it to make it all up front, and I think it really works--I'm glad you agree! The pictured one is pretty, isn't she? Even from peripheral vision? The original image is from a early 20th century poster I've got here... but the model and photographer seem to have been lost in the sands of time. I agree that the ending is tricky, and probably could use some work. I like the idea of adding vocals and maybe guitar to this, so if I revisit it, I will try to improve the ending too. The ending sigh is definitely an idea worth looking into! Thanks for listening and leaving your thoughts here, Eduard!
