Description:
I was inspired by Matt's story about eating earwig larvae and decided to turn the experience into a song. Enjoy!

Nicely arranged. The piano is very dark and the cello fits nicely into this
dark and disturbing piece. Vocal speech is done and enhances this also.
Maybe this will be used at the beginning of a movie, maybe indie films, it
is similar in design to some of those movie intro songs. Pretty cool song,
strange subject, which is why it is cool. "Slime" is great.

Loved Matt's story - this is a good musical interpretation Ross. Made
me feel more sympathy for the earwig than Matt's original story though
: )
Maybe a bit longer than it needed to be, but that was OK with me -
liked the vocal group sound - I'm a sucker for oohs and aahs!
Nicely done Ross.

...Typical of Matt to have this experience!
A love ballad of gastronomic 'aural' proportions!

fantastic track! very atmospheric, with creative and intersting story. i did feel, however, that the vocals were either slightly too loud or a little too effects heavy, which was somewhat distracting at first.

There is a real mood created by your background music.
It was a bit long, but that's what the earwig demanded, that's what you
get.
this is very well done...although "there was an earwig in my peach" haha that made me laugh
It's odd, I feel a bit like someone has made a movie out of my short story -- which much be a very mini-feeling version of the feeling novelists gets when someone makes a full length movie out of their short story. I'm flattered maybe a bit distributed that you would spend the time listening to me utter "baby earwig slime" over and over again to make this track. In any case, the track is a really interesting read of the story. It evokes a kind of nostalgia for eating earwigs. A nostalgia I didn't know I had.
aha, that would be disturbed (rather than distributed)...

You said, "Well, never mind. We may be ugly, but we have the music"
