Lyrics
late afternoon right before sunset takes place
i move my steps towards an urban

thought there could be an excitement
yet hailed by another dissapointment

will it be the same old being asked- away?
will it be the same old being bored- away?
will it be the same old being stressed- away?
will it be the same old being kicked- away?

on an empty street where all the crowds went by
i grabbed the light blinked by an old-van

thought that could be an excitement
yet bullied by another disappointment

yes, thought that was an excitement
yet fooled by another frustration

will it be the same old being astray?
will it be the same old being bored- away?
will it be the same old being stressed- away?
will it be the same old being kicked- away?

i'll stay in the street
i'll stay in the street

a bit...
...ground breaking having the lead voice panned out to the left I must
say. But it kinda works. Very good bottom in this mix. Solid. But I would
have prefered the vocals dead center :-).... Overall nice sounds.

Oh creepy ..
.. that chorus gives me shivers ... wow what a style. Agree with slide
a bit on the vocals .. you've got the lead in the left and the delayed
effect on them, appearing in the right .. perhaps not intentionally(?)

.. and you say I sound young! pfft .. ;o) that's some range there haribo.
Awesome. I really liked the sound of the keys and the bass too - and
it's so fresh and interesting, not run of the mill by any means.

thanks for the comment apb :D
hehe i should indeed have corrected my vocal panning into the centre

i happen to have some hearing loss on me left year and i was so much in the
mix using computer speaker .. hence couldn't spot whether it was such far in
the left..

:0 i keep having the sql error as well :-0 now my song won't play on the
webpage.. i might have to do something about it if it doenst get repaired in a
while :-0

:D thanks for the input & score hehehe :):) takk

CHABLIS
Reminds me of Supertramp! Not bad BUT wasn't really into this kind of tune. COuld be much cooler! The instruments sound fake! I guess if they sounded more real it might work!

interesting approach
some interesting thngs going on. doubling vocals in some spots can
intensify the feel. i guess by now you've heard about the vocal pan. overall
nice listen and approach to style.

Left pan is strange feeling...
but a very well done arrangment. The echo effect creates a good mood. I
like this beat and back ground music, it works well there. You might try
some harmony on the chorus, fatten it up a bit and will drive home that
lyrical content. Good job overall.

love it
your singing is great on this tune...the sound is minimal and leaves the

mixing...well..
Im the wrong person to ask about mixing...I think the mix was great
My thing is listening to the playing and writing.. I think the song was well
written...and the singing was on top...as far as the bass goes..Im a bass
player and I dont use compressor on bass very much..If I do ..its very very
very little...good song all in all...keep up the good work

so different
I love your vocalising on this song. Wow, what a high and perfect voice you have... astonishing. This is a surprisingly different track from what I regularly hear on MJ and elsewhere. Glad I heard it. Walter
