Description:
Hi everyone!!
Just little old me trying to write a love tune for my wifey. I have never wrote her a love song. So I figure this is a good time to try. Pretty soon were going to have twins(boy & girl). I wanted to do something special for her.

There is still a lot more work to do on this idea. I need to come up with some more changes. I want to keep it funky slick because that how I do it. You guys should know that by now;0}

Please drop me a note and let me know what ya think so far. Comments and ideas are welcomed here;0}

A groove with sweetness... &mdash 10/17/06 - 06:47:11 AM
...and a good start.... like a pot on simmer...

Tones and playing are nice as they always are. I'm not usually a fan of
that Rhodes-y sound that was so omnipresent in the Seventies, but you
use it very nicely here. I enjoy whatever the talk-box-y instrument is,
which suggests a vocal line. I'd love to hear this finished up with some
great lyrics, and perhaps a chorus and bridge...

I always enjoy listening to your stuff, Hectorious. You're just musical as
all heck. Great chops, great taste.

Heartfelt congratulations on having someone you love that much, and
on the soon-to-arrive twins...

Ed

To add to what EJH said, I think the main synth line also suggests a vocal
track. What about a slow moving vocal that mimics that line (perhaps
using the title of the song), as a counterpoint to the talky synth? Just a
thought. This has a lot of potential. Twins, huh? Best of luck with that!
Are these to be your first children? Almost an instant 'all in the family'
band there.

It will be four &mdash 10/25/06 - 08:09:13 PM
with the addition of the twins. My daughter(11) sings and my son(6) is learning
guitar and bass.

Very good suggestions for this idea by the way;0}

OMG, this has a TON of potential... &mdash 02/03/07 - 06:10:38 PM
Hectorious, I have some *very* concrete ideas on where to take this tune. If you're interested, PLEASE let me know. This could *really* turn into an awesome smooth jazz or pop song.
