FINALLY! &mdash 10/18/06 - 12:36:56 PM
I was missing my Paxeden fix... very glad to see you back, and I hope to
hear more from you as your time permits! This is really pretty, very nicely
arranged and sung... I assume you wrote/arranged this? Sweet swirly
choral harmonies! Now I'm off to tell a few MJ'ers to check this out!

Wow, great singing. I was very reminded of the awesome band Charming Hostess. Very nicely done; sounds like a track off an album. [ Reply to This ]

Who needs a choir ???? &mdash 10/18/06 - 07:36:21 PM
When all it takes is a computer and one person .. this is fabulous ... I started to try something similar a while back but didn't quite pull it off. Parts of it remind me of some of the world music I have listened to in the past - great job ! [ Reply to This ]
i tried to find a category &mdash 10/20/06 - 12:33:07 AM
that explained that world music vibe... when i was in highschool i was obsessed
with african music, and with cajun/zydeco as well as anything old or from other
countries...loving french music... i used to be in a jazz choir and madrigal choir
too. ........anyway... when i was listening back i could hear the influence that
ladysmith black mambazo (the group that backed paul simon) had on my
rhythmic choices...but i didn't know if that warranted putting it in a category.
glad to hear that others hear that too!!! (essay huh!) --serena [ Reply to This ]

Your voice sounds wonderful, makes me wish I could sing. I also like
the words, perhaps we can collaborate some day! Take care and keep
up the good work. [ Reply to This ]

How nice to hear nothing but voice ... &mdash 10/19/06 - 05:46:34 AM
A cappella is a much underrated form and I love it. Very nice harmonies and it's interesting how strongly the beat asserts itself even in the absence of any instrumentation. Great stuff. [ Reply to This ]

Gorgeous! &mdash 11/15/06 - 02:24:13 AM
You get the melody, the harmonies, the rhythm...everything this song needs with just your voice. I'm amazed! [ Reply to This ]
Surprise. &mdash 11/15/06 - 11:06:19 AM
I love the different parts that you use. It's a really great contrast. It sounds a bit gospel at times especially during the "you must learn to fly" line. [ Reply to This ]
Stunning &mdash 01/22/07 - 10:19:02 PM
You have an amazing voice with such great control. I really love this. [ Reply to This ]
