Description:
I wrote this song about 10 or 12 years ago, reworked and re-recorded it a few months back.
The track features Ian Baird of Sprinclock Wonder and The Glare of Day on bass and drums, and yours truly on guitar and vocals. No Ian and I aren't related, however, we've known each other long enough I consider him a brother. Hope you enjoy.

Hardware:
Drums tracked with Digi001, bass w/Presonus Blue Tube as a preamp, vocals and guitar tracked using a Presonus Firebox, an Oktava MK319 on the vocals and a SM57 on the guitar.

Software:
Cubase LE, Protools LE, Izotope Ozone

Ahhhhh.....! &mdash 10/22/06 - 05:28:03 PM
A hard crunch I love!, Gimme som'ore a that $tuff! This is a nice, driving tune - love the crunchin' guitar... Keep it coming! Please! Notes: the drums and all were powerful and super, elements to drive the song. I think the vocals could come up just a tad in the mix, but they were not lost on me... You could move guitar and bass a little off-center to give some space to bring the vox up closer in center or close to it. - Harold

thanks &mdash 10/22/06 - 05:57:10 PM
glad you liked it, I have a tendency to bury the vox, I'm not real confident in my voice yet, I've alway been a guitarist, never a singer, this is my first venture into doing the frontman thing. on top of that my monitors I mix on suck, sometimes it's a little hard to tell what going on with them, which kind of dictates my next major purchase, i'll use your advise about the mix when I remix later..cheers!

...SWEET! Nice drums and mix. Produced with good clarity in the musical
areas, a little light on the vocal volume, but it is good for sure.

DEMANDS LITTLE &mdash 11/10/06 - 01:17:56 PM
Mx is Plenty good. Could hear every word of Vx (though, it appears to me that you have No Reason to be Timid - You sound Solid). The Kit and Bass are MONEY, as they say. Right There.

If THAT is THAT Tele, covering the Rhy Gtr licks - You have, simply, created the BEST R'n R Tele On The Planet with your mods (No, AIN'T Jangly, One Bit)! Superb Transients in Full OverDrive. Rare, Very Rare, indeed, Brother! Amp sounds like, maybe, the Mesa "HeartBreaker" or Like Quality Level, but don't know what you pointed that 57 at, but it was Good.

Best Regards,

Cooper

tele thru a sovtek mig 60, 60 watt all tube, single channel head thru a custom built 2x12 cab loaded with celestion vintage 30's, it's a small rig but it packs a pretty good punch. thanks for the compliments.
