My favourite so far! &mdash 10/23/06 - 12:59:45 PM
Distinctly DataFunk. Whenever I check out your music I know I'm in for a musical treat. Unpredictable but always outstanding in more than one way. Love the horns/strings/triangle mix - genius.

This is definitely one of my favorites. I love the break in the middle and at
the end of the song... Once again envious of your creativity. Nice work

hell yes. &mdash 10/23/06 - 02:21:25 PM
What kind of new age melody & instrumental juxtaposed with trip hop
weirdness is this?! What ever the heck it is, I LOVE it! I think this is
perhaps your most melody tune I've heard. I love the gritty parts layered
below all this. Damn, instant download! Fab.

PS &mdash 10/23/06 - 02:22:44 PM
replace "melody" with "Melodic" -- just so you don't think I'm an incompetent
moron. :-)

A Sweet, Melancholy Theme &mdash 10/23/06 - 06:43:53 PM
Surrounded by electronic production madness.
Very well done.

i feel like a Prisoner &mdash 10/23/06 - 07:30:27 PM
those horns! great. nice switch up in the middle....
i like a rhythm of those horns - i had to tap it out to convince myself it
was in 4/4 - it feels like 7/8 or something - maybe the phrasing? very
cool.....
the rotating triangles (?) are a nice idea too..... and another great break
right near the end!.... thanks for a great tune

oh well &mdash 10/26/06 - 02:01:12 AM
you know, ur very welcome smokey.
yep the beat is a regular straight 4/4, but the horns part is not, its why you had this weird feeling, maybe :-)

hello &mdash 10/23/06 - 08:35:52 PM
Now that was sufficiently cool, dude. A big aresed wow from me. You're
helping to bring me out of my little sheltered closet to speak up and yelp
about what's deeply groovn'. Yeah, that pinched my 'this is sweet as hell'
nerve. This one has ranked as a fav of yours - Nice new sound ya got
going -

deliciously trippy &mdash 10/24/06 - 12:54:24 PM
Wow, those horns, the extremely tight beat, that sharp noodling guitar, the bells, the flutes, the breaks,... this is such a yummie fusion track. Something I've never heard. Bloody original. And such a crispy clear production. Fred, you nailed it man! Listening for the third time while I'm writing now. This is deliciously trippy and and so tastefully created. - Walter

Smitheroo &mdash 10/24/06 - 07:50:17 PM
Yah, nice horns'n'mix. And then those breaks...at the middle, and later... some of the coolest things I've heard. Really excellent!

Horny &mdash 10/25/06 - 08:09:58 AM
is good. Love the horn/wind arrangement, very nice. Beats are nice and
nasty while the melody line floats above. The growly bridge was pretty
cool. And the breakdown was out there, crafty, crafty, crafty.

Wonderfully surreal... &mdash 10/29/06 - 03:45:11 PM
An awesome piece of work. Love the horns and the low-end stuff in the mid-section. The melodic aspect is hauntingly beautiful. I'm sold! Sign me up!

Be well!

This is the first track I heard when I joined this site, and it still remains my favourite. I bump this in my iPod all the time. :)
