Description:
I've flagged this as 'explicit' to be on the safe side, but it isn't really. I set out to compose a little waltz song in the style of 1930s German cabaret. I expected to write some nostalgic or romantic lyrics, but this is what I came up with. The lyrics are suggestive, sardonic and arguably in dubious taste - at any rate, quite suitable for a 1930 Berlin cabaret song. If you don't like the lyrics there is an instrumental remix at http://www.macjams.com/song/25469

Lyrics:

Splendid.
Your delivery reminds me of Terry-Thomas.

What was I thinking? &mdash 10/24/06 - 07:58:03 AM
ROFL! This is quite delightful, and the innuendo is right up my alley. This
is not only lyrically tight, the backing music is great, as usual. This was
the second-most-wonderful thing to wake up to! Thanks! I'll show the
MOST wonderful thing to wake up to this music when she wakes up,
she'll smirk too.

Well, as they say, innuendo, out the other.

Delightful &mdash 10/24/06 - 01:53:48 PM
From beginning to end, from that Cabaret snare roll opening and your
fantastic Joel Grey like MC singing to the sparse arrangement with
German ensemble, so nice. Wish you could get real brass players.
WOnderful lyrics, very sweet punch line. Delightful.
