great! &mdash 10/24/06 - 06:00:09 PM
i like this a lot. the transition about 1/3 of the way in could be smoother. while the rest of the parts are interesting, the percussion is mediocre. i'd either want to hear it more analog-ish electronic, or harder--like a techno or dnb kit.

Finally I get to hear the doofy version. &mdash 10/26/06 - 08:53:12 PM
It's funny to listen to this right after hlurper's acoustic version. Definitely shows the many ways to go with the loop. I agree that the transitions are a little rough but the song is kinda bouncy and schizo anyway so they're not totally out of place in my opinion. Also love the artwork; it fits perfectly. It all reminds me of some kind of nanobot ant farm.

Yes! Nanobot ant farm! &mdash 10/26/06 - 11:49:25 PM
The art really does fit. I like this kind of electropop sound. It makes me think of funky robots with crazy dance moves.

ZOOOOOOOM! &mdash 10/27/06 - 07:15:45 AM
Love the fast pace.... Great application of the loop from the Loop Maester. This is so much fun! Don't know if I'll get any work done today?

This is your loop on DoofySpeed &mdash 10/27/06 - 11:08:23 AM
Yes! This is what the loop looks like through Doof-colored glasses.. I like the particle-accellerated version. The artwork looks like the genetically-engineered caffeine molecule used in Deputy Doofy's coffee just before he started crafting this... in fact this could be my substitute for coffee today! This whizzed by so fast I didn't notice any speed bump transition problems, seemed nicely blue-shifted and blurry to me!

I love the frenetic pacing and the &mdash 10/27/06 - 08:17:25 PM
many variations on the MRG #11 loop. I think this is my first experience with your music and I really dig it.

Very nice Deputy! I thought the transition in the middle was very cool! Your mixes are always awesome!

Nice ---- &mdash 10/28/06 - 10:25:34 PM
Very nice job using the key loop in many different ways. Sometimes it was hard to distinguish but I could hear it. You really are the "Loop Arrangement Extraordinaire."

I'm glad I discovered you from this challlenge and I can't wait to hear more of your stuff.

Peace

That loop is angry! What did you do? Tie it down and force feed it caffeine? This is what I might call "lo-fi techno" - lots of techno beats but with harshly treated instrument samples instead of synths. I think you may have broken ground on a new genre. (How about "acoustic techno," is that even possible?) That middle section is cool. I could envision an entire song built around that riff. I'm glad you stirred the loop into your kettle for this little cooking challenge!
