Description
In a 19th Century ruin set high upon the hillside above the forests and lakes is an ancient room named after the view which can be seen from its windows. And with each passing day from there I have noticed the leaves changing and the passing of time. The woods in England especially around Cumbria have that Hansel & Grettel feel to them as you wonder home in the twilight. These things have been inspiring me for a while now,and this is the result.I'm not a great fan of synthesized instruments but the orchestra weren't able to fit in my room,so I had to make do with applying lots of reverb to instruments that don't remotely sound like what they are supposed to represent.Maybe one day before I die,I'll actually get off my arse and go and learn how to properly score music for the instruments of an orchestra.I'd love to hear it played for real. This is only part 1,because so many themes came out of the first phrase that it led onto all kinds of variations, most of which I can visualize but am taking time to transform into physical reality ! - if you know what I mean?

No lyrics - but some choral ornamentation

Gets better and better as I hear it through. The themes and instrument choices work amazingly well together. Sounds like you could score for a real orchestra :)
