Description:
Okay, second effort.
I'm not sure about the genre, but does anybody care ? This time I tried to avoid the corny loops - but I still have to work with the basic pack of GB3 - then I played some guitar. Gee ! That was excruciating ! Horrible to hear myself ! It's something to jam with friends in a garage, playing rock or blues (add some booze and spliff), another to compose something when you have poor musical education and training. I try to fiddle with tons of effects to hide my poor guitar skills... Well, at the end, after massive sweating, and applying first rule of editing (dump the crap), here I am, folks !
Hardware:
Guitar Ibanez Artist

New to GB - Say Goodbye to Many Many Hours to come - And have a Blast! GB is Good for You ("Doctor's Orders"); preserves your Sanity, sometimes!
I think I've heard parts of this, here and there (GB was new to me only a year ago), but I like the Composition quite a lot. The Production Values are Very Good - well Balanced, Nice Use of the Sound Stage, Fine Dynamics (though the Guitar is a bit far back). I'm sure that this will change in the coming months!
A FINE Post.

Fine work here- like RT said you're in it now. On the forum you asked about loops and I replied there - but I forgot to mention digging in the resource library here for a lot of free stuff. I look forward to more from you in the future.

Thanks guys ! &mdash 10/31/06 - 02:29:39 PM
For the welcome. I've been listening to all your stuff, Bud. Thanks a lot for your advice, I downloaded the loops you mentioned. I dig your music, sounds really NY for me. Far from mainstream. Keep'on rockin' ! (I would like to play with my daughter too, like you !) [ Reply to This ]

Yes, you're right. Should be better with a voice. Exactly what I thought. Unfortunately, I can't sing. So, if anybody feel inspired… the track is yours. I may oneday work a bit over again on it, make better guitars, we'll see… [ Reply to This ]

[ Reply to This ]

Singing not needed &mdash 11/13/06 - 03:58:39 AM
Exactly what I planned to do. I need to pratice a bit ( I haven't played for ages, it's GB fault to put me back on duty). I think I will overdub the weak flute by something a bit more consistent. Thanks for your comment and support. [ Reply to This ]
