This is my bulerias, bulerias is a flamenco form in twelve, I play it in a minor key, and picture sort of as a dance, whether it be in a palace or around the campfire.

thank you feter...
I couldn't recieve kinder words, thank you, it means allot to me, because this song is what music is about to me, bringing joy to oneself and the listener, finding a way to create a meaningful moment for everyone. This is my vision of a framework for celebration amid nature, I would like to add percussion and handlclaps to it, could see many instruments in it. Art to me should be liberating and I feel in this piece I have achieved that to the highest degree I have been able to so far. It was a Greek philospher who said "He who knows freedom is a slave to philosophy."

Oh, yes
This is beautiful on its own, yet the extra percussion /handclaps would enhance the gypsy feel. Very nice work, Ian! :-)

nice solemn music
Recording a guitar is tricky... it sounds like a good recording. I like the piece, it is a slow seductive dance.. although I liked the tone of the low strings, and you had almost none of those, so this seemed narrow and high-pitched. More low strings here and there would make this richer. Very nice playing, love the constant mordents (I think?) you played. Enjoyable listen!

Thank You Drakonis
I can try to play this piece with more low notes by removing the capo from the third fret, which is where I had it. I looked up mordent on the internet and ornaments a trills would exactly describe what is going on here. Again, thank you for the kind words and constructive criticism.

Ahhhh...
My Ian Beardsley album is coming along nicely! Very nice Spanish flamenco feel here. Your love for world-music is sticking out all over (and that's a GOOD thing). Since I am technologically impaired I have no critique on the production. The playing is not to be faulted!

Be well!

Thank you Amagi...
Thanks so much, I am a babe in the woods too with recording production, but I am learning. Again, Gracias amigo,

Ian
