Outstanding &mdash 11/02/06 - 12:45:16 PM
As far as your really unique original compositions go this one is at the top of the list. I like everything about it. The GB stuff fits perfectly with your absolutely phenomenal guitar playing. The fact that you can incorporate the psychedelic sound of the 60's (which is one of the sounds I love) into a fingerpicking piece is just great! Wish I had known this flower girl in the 60's! Wonderful job!

Great guitar... &mdash 11/02/06 - 10:07:34 PM
sounds... ambient, psychedelic, folkish, hippie-ish. Whatcha smokin' thar Bill? heheh. The synth and drums are great additions. I agree maybe a little more volume on the drums... but that is a maybe... 'cause I like it a lot just as it is. What a tune!

This one is a bit &mdash 11/03/06 - 09:27:13 AM
different than what i've normally done. I had this tuning that I started and wanted to come up with something for it.

Oh my gosh... &mdash 11/03/06 - 02:27:19 AM
...does this take me back!!! I can still smell the sandalwood incense and I can just hear the faint rustle of the elephant bell-bottoms she is wearing (I actually knew her!) as she floats on by. Beautifully executed Bill.

Peace!

Another fine composition &mdash 11/03/06 - 10:57:31 AM
I've never been able to be proficient with the odd-tunings, but this seems to come effortlessly to you. Performance on this was nothing short of stellar. Yes, the drums could be a bit higher in the mix, or perhaps be replaced by some tasty percussions. Well enjoyed! Thanks for sharing.

Nice experiment &mdash 11/03/06 - 02:15:47 PM
Nice experiment. Never tried that tuning. Did you invent it or is is something going around?

And the style is different than your earlier posts.

Really nice.

Cori

There was a female artist that wanted to continue a piece that had an arabic feel but I couldn't come up with anything that would blend with hers. I tried to duplicate her sound in tuning the strings in a certain way. But I want way off the deep end that I would think that she would be interested so I just made up my own. I just came up with this tuning. I have no idea if it is an established popular tuning. Probably is somewhere. But I never used or heard of it before.
