So i'll try this again. Exactly... a soft, warm rain and a longing heart. Beautifully written and played, as usual. Thank God you took those piano lessons. :-)

Roxy,
This is the third track on a disk I titled "Out Of My Mind." ... Just a group of piano numbers, most of them without any particular theme or programme. Thanks for response. It's nice to have someone listen this early in the morning. I'm wondering a bit what I should post next -- I'm overwhelmed with the positive responses...but a little apprehensive about "opening the file drawer" so-to-speak and presenting something completely different. ... Well, ok... I'm going to upload a vocal ballad. Let's see where THAT goes.
Thanks again for your positive reactions to my music.

beautiful. don't be apprehensive about opening the file drawer, the world needs more people doing their own thing, just put it out there if people don't get it, it's their loss...this great work.

New Age remembrances &mdash 11/06/06 - 09:57:15 AM
Beautiful. As I mentioned before with other pieces you have shared, I think this goes under New Age solo piano, not really Ambient (which usually refers to enhanced color washes of trance-like ambience). Altho this piece has wonderful ambience. It reminds me of a quiet nostalgic fantasy on childhood. Very sweet.

Thanks again for your advice as to where to list this. I have never known how to "classify" my music and your sage advice is very helpful. I appreciate your listening and your words of encouragement.

Kenta,
One of the many wonders of music--all sorts of music--is its ability to speak to the heart. That you consider this one to have "reached" you is indeed a wonderful compliment. Thank you for it, and I hope it really DOES soothe your heart.
