Description:
I put this piece together a few years ago. It was featured in a indie film titled "April is My Religion". A story about a sheltered kid going off to college and experiencing life on his own. This song was used in a scene where he uses hallucinogenics for the first time.

I think it fits the bill &mdash 11/06/06 - 12:30:16 PM
Grew up with a lot of "sheltered" types in Brazil. Some missionary families wouldn't let their kids "out of the fold" - some, later experienced the hard knocks and were quickly pulled in to a life of experimenting with drugs and departed completely from the teachings that had been drilled into their heads.

This soundscape carries that feel very well, a bit of terror on the edges.

reincarnated from cosmic dust?? sounds like it....this is a cool track with a nice groove and some trippy middle eastern flava....this will make me think twice next time before I step on an ant....now join some sacred sects and wave your freedom flag....
