Which one's Pink
Great chorus section. Liked what you did with the vocals. Fit well.

The piano seemed detached however. It seemed to be too dry compared with the rest. It also semed outside the drive of the song, a little noodling here and there, not driving the verse. I would shoot for more of a pattern that's defined and repeats. But that's my Kansas roots showing again.

Good tune

Good Observation
Good observation about the piano - the song actually wasn't supposed to have piano at all. But Jimmy added it as an after thought while he was mixing it.

nice song
nice song structure, great vocals and a good feel overall. The guitar however feels a bit too fuzzy for my liking - in fact the whole mix sounds fuzzy without any bass. Is this intentional? If not, maybe cutting back on the effects and upping the bottom end would give the sound a more rounded feel. Nice work.

apols again!!!
Hi, i apologise for criticising your recording, it was my wireless headphones - they weren't tuned in properly. Now I've corrected that, the production sounds much better. Sorry about that!

Nice Composition
Loved the groove. Nice bits and pieces here and there. The lead and backup vocals sit well in the mix eomotionally. Thanks for sharing.

DAMN
"Hello, Sweetheart. Give me ReWrite."

GOOD BONES. But the small stuff distracts, some. I Vote ReMx to put it Over the Top.

Vocals, Lead Gtr, Kit Really pull the Wagon, here. Great Tie Up on the Chorus - They're Marching. Rhy Gtr (esp if the same one as on Open Up lacks enough definition to be in the Center of the Sound Stage. Maybe double it with a stagger and pan it out so that it's bigger, but back so it can Push and not Block the Vx Trx at Center. Lead Gtr does not have the clarity problem, at all.

I really like the pensive/plaintive piano, just wish it had a bigger part.

I know this is an"old" track, to you, but it's too good not to have another shot at the Mx. I think it would Really Come at You.

Best Regards,

Cooper

Thanks!
Thanks! We are actually retracking it. I am planning a heavier chorus so it really stands out. I was actually not planning on having any piano, but maybe I should rethink that! Thanks for your observations!!
