Nice playing
In the grand tradition of Rock Operas and Rock symphonies. There is some good stuff here. Did you ever consider stretching the soundstage of the backing orchestra parts to make them more expansive in the background? It might make the whole thing sound bigger.
Thanks for posting this, I enjoyed it.

Yeah...
oh believe this whole thing is meant to be a whole lot more expansive than what you actually hear, the only thing is my computer can only handle so much before it freezes. there are so many parts written out but not performed, but my computer is old and slow.

how old and how slow?
Do you know all the tricks for making Garage band work better? Like locking tracks? Bouncing tracks to Itunes and then back as a sub mix? Then there is the greatest trick of all .... buy a new computer!!!! You knew that was coming, right?

nice idea...
Horns are tricky... are you using Jampack 4 or a Synth-keyboard? One of the problems with horn orchestration is that french horns have a slow attack, which means if you tell them to play ON the beat, they always sound like they're lagging... the trick to fix this is to slide the horn track very slightly ahead (same with legato strings.) Overall the orchestration and music is quite tasty and enjoyable. Your guitar playing was great fun to listen to.. this reminded me a bit of Trans Siberian Orchestra. I'll listen to your other parts later, cool stuff!

hahahahaa
hahahaha that's okay! thanks for the compliments! this project has been really hard to do really. so far it's been over a year since i've started working on it, and i've been met with resistance from friends/musicians/mentors alike about the project i.e. they dont get it, and dont really care. buuuuuut, that's neither here nor there, i'm doing this all on my own now, and hopefully will release a demo within in the next year, hahahaha yeah, that long from now.

thank you all for you compliments, critique, and support!!! it reminds me why im actually doing this. look forward to hearing from you guys!
