Strawberry fields - Cool observation - I hadn't thought about that - but you're right. As for the the ISB - I have a confession to make - the reason I captured them is because I sampled them - which I guess is against the rules here - but I couldn't help myself. I built a rhythm bed first and then I wondered what ISB would sound like in the mix - and the rest is shameful history. I hope I haven't fallen to the depths of depravity in your eyes. not intentional but I am attraccted to the upstroke feel of reggae and sometimes it creeps into my music. Is that kinda what you're hearing. No way I can really play reggae - I consider it one of the toughest music forms to master. I've had this idea for a while now with no way to do it - but you may be the perfect person to pull this off. I wanna hear a dub reggae version of Bach's Brandenburg Concertos or maybe The St. Matthew Passion. Whaddya think Smokey? Radiodread (a must hear) got me thinkin this way. Where's George Harrison when you need him. This is a different atmosphere to play that in, but it works well. The very American english vocal adds yet another twist, very interesting and enjoyable.
