True It was one of my early recording attempts and unfortunately I only have the 'finished' track as the old Hard Drive bit it last year. But you are right about the compression! It's overblown. I like a lot of what is going on in this song but I don't really care for the heavy use of the compression and limiting. A lot of the air is pinched out of this piece by the pumping of the compression/limiting. Opening the song up by backing off the compression would fit better with this genre.
Remember that this is just my opinion and that you are free to make your music in any way you want to. I hope you take this comment in the spirit in which it is offered.
I never comment on a song that I don't like and I like this song a lot ... I just think it could be improved.
