Description
A Christmas song. There are a ton of tracks and I'm struggling to mix it well... Any suggestions? Cellos and drums are gb loops. Guitars are Martin and Fender. Sitar is real (before it went horribly out of tune). Bass is an active Schecter. Rob WIlliams played the guitars and I sang and played the sitar parts.

I think you've put together an exceptionally clear mix. Every instrument is clean. It doesn't sound dull at all to my ears - though the bass and nylon-string guitar add a certain mellow quality to the general timbre.
If you aren't hearing the sharpness you want I'd suggest at this point looking at indvidual instruments. You might try boosting the "scrape and ring" bands of the stringed instruments and/or using a compressor to extend the ringing of strings/percussion.
You might also consider swapping an instrument to change the sound. Bright steel guitar strings will bring much more sizzle to the mix than will nylon. You could also use drums that provide a hollow ring after each slap.
It all depends on why you want to change the current mix. I think you are bang on technically - all that remains is satisfying your artistic intent.
One thing I noticed is that the song is mixed right up against the speakers. The only voice with serious space around it is the solo guitar (great solo and tone, by the way!). I think this is a very effective approach. It almost feels like a physical shift in perception, like looking off into the distance, when the solo guitar appears.
