Woah. That's grand! I really enjoy the percussion and horns in this piece. The various phrases are really top notch, each having a unique expression. Sweeping and cinematic, maybe just a touch of prog-rock and stage music. This is a long piece, but you never sit still - always moving from scene to scene.

Though I really didn't mind the length you could consider divding this into three distinct movements. You definitely have enough material and it would make for a powerful triptych as you could stretch out your emotional statements over longer periods.

I don't know if you're familiar with the excellent HBO series "ROME," but there is some excellent soundtrack work there - the spirit of which you capture often.

If I ever find myself with some time on my hands I may just ask you for a chance to remix some portion of this. I would love create version with a mixture of traditional and industrial percussion - djembe and 10-ton mechanical monstrosities.

thanks so much for the awesome input.
i would be glad to let you do some remixing with it. i liked your idea of splitting them into movements and maybe even adding more to make it a full length something or other.
i watch a lot of the dark ages and rome stuff on cable, i dig the music be hind the scenes.
thanks again
