Pretty cool. Lyrics and style kind of remind me of the
Barenaked Ladies. Not sure I'd sing it the way you're doing
it, though. A more powerful voice might sound a bit better
and help give the lyrics a bit more help emotionnally.

Yes, it has a huge housemartins feel. And that comment
about barenaked ladies below, they got their feel from the
housemartins as well. i know, cause in know the boys in
theband. Great work mate!!!!!
