Electric Lobster
The mighty dragon told me that there would be another version of Ember.
I think you did a good job here - went back to the original (thanks for the link) - well it 's darker now but I like that too !
The turn on half of the song is very good.
EZamor
thanks. yeah, my version is a little darker, but only during the first half, i think. it brightens up a bit toward the end, yeah?
haribo
wonderful sound scape.. subtle and tranquil!! nice!
EZamor
thanks. have you chedked out the original version? drakonis created an incredible foundation to build upon.
Wildcat
this is a nice version of ember...more in a dark mood...but thats what i like...
caroline
... you can never have too many embers!!! nice version - ty
EZamor
thanks for the listen, caroline!
drakonis
You did quite a bit more since my preview... This is quite enjoyable... not sure exactly how you did it, but this has several things hilighted at once, ominous, beautiful, longing, humorous, powerful. Just my kind of enhancements, a little slower pace too... I really really like your portamento synth melody laid over the end, there's sort of a darkwave feel to it now. This is definitely DL'ed, thank you for working hard to creating such a nice EZ version!

i loved working on this piece, drakonis. your chord progression is stunningly moving. thanks!
cool the way you bend the notes of the synth over everything else i enjoyed it
EZamor
thanks ego! that was my favorite part to work on. i love theremins and wanted to create a line that has sort of a theremin-like quality.

I almost expected Robert Smith to start chiming in with some dark, forlorn lyric
EZamor
Thanks! Now that you mention it, the mood does remind me a bit of Disintegration-era Cure. And although he's not quite the type of vocalist I had in mind while working on this track, I definately wouldn't turn down Robert Smith if he were to offer vocals. :)

This is yet another cool take on Ember. Nice big skyscape going on here!
EZamor
appreciate the listen, vortex!
cheers,
