Nice ambient tune. Deffinately put me in the right frame of mind. Wish it was longer. I guess I'll just have to D/L it and loop it over and over :) [ Reply to This ]

You don't need a lot of chords and beats to make something classy. As usual, you created something very cooooool and very well mixed. [ Reply to This ]

Nice &mdash 11/16/06 - 08:46:29 PM
I like your juxtapositions of sounds and rhythms. The synth pads are soft and floating, but the drums are really driving a beat. This really keeps the piece interesting and moving. The wah sounds are nice as well. I wouldn%u2019t change a thing about it. Nice work! [ Reply to This ]

As usual your creativity astounds me. Great movement. Interesting twist with the time... Upbeat and laid-back all at the same time. Kinda like a slowed down jungle song. Kudos.

I really enjoyed this track, it's elegantly simple (I mean that in the best possible way). Not too much, just enough. [ Reply to This ]

chillin... &mdash 11/18/06 - 03:47:19 PM
good thumpy bass, I like how it comes and goes... the usual intriguing little "crab-blowing-bubbles" sounds here and there, and slow washes of colored sound... I feel the shimmering sun rays rippling over the tide pools on the island of Goa. Great production quality as usual. Cool!

Elegant LoB*-) &mdash 11/18/06 - 04:04:50 PM
.. I agree - fine example of less is more and I too found the soft chords, 'bubbles' and just the right hi-hat touches and other percussion ..
made this very elegant and pleasing listen. I liked the use of delay on
doubles on the bass drum and snares (?).. so they drifted off like that ..
sweet.
The only thing I'd leave out was 'froggie' who appeared somewhere
after the half way mark and ribitted occasionally afterwards - just
seemed out of place and is just a nitpicky taste thing - pay no heed.
Was that a Tibetan or monk bowl chiming I heard in near the end?
It's a stay-er and not a go-a, get it?? Ah, why do I bother .. ;o)

Thank you very much Alan ! &mdash 11/19/06 - 09:56:43 PM
I don't know what the "froggie" sound is you are talking about ...
But yes it is the Tibetan bowl again (not only in the end) :)
Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed comment !

a spine tickling tune &mdash 11/18/06 - 10:19:13 PM
it's calmly visceral - if that's possible. a very nice "coming down" feel to it. the echoes are spot on... thank you, sir! [ Reply to This ]

Rob, this a pretty amazing piece, kinda 'trip hop' meets dub, I really like how you used a few simple ideas to turn out such an elegantly sophisticated piece..well done! [ Reply to This ]

Goa &mdash 11/21/06 - 06:44:40 AM
[ Reply to This ]

hi Rob &mdash 11/29/06 - 12:35:32 AM
good bedtime tune for me...although the drum is kind of making me hip hop to bed. It's fun to listen to all the intricate details you have placed into this song. Very well thought out. I know you wouldn't have it any other way. [ Reply to This ]
Thank you again for listening Linda ! &mdash 11/29/06 - 11:56:01 AM

But nice to notice that you liked this one already.
