Blimey !
This voice... these guitars... the tune... strongly recalls me... dare I name them ? The Fab Four ? I can't believe my ears, litened to it four times. Fantastic song, brilliant performance and writing. Wanted to listen to your other stuff, could'nt find it. Don't tell me it's your first song ever ! If the answer is yes, I quit music immediatly !

Grazie!
Thanks Youra and Steve.

I learned to play guitar and write songs in good part due to a Beatles fake book. That was some time ago!

I've posted before but am starting fresh with a new batch of tunes.
More to come soon.

Thanks again.

I really like the closeness
of the production - very immediate - is that tapping the guitar percussion? Also the structure is interesting along with great playing and singing. Nice little package.

Thanks folks!
The rhythm track was made by tapping on the back of the guitar.
I just looped it.
Glad some intimacy is coming through.

Everyday
I agree with others who've commented about the Fab 4 influence. Not a bad model, eh? Your song really gets under the skin and is impossible to forget. You know you've got something good when that happens...Way to go.
I wish there were more lyrics, something that would take the song on a little journey...a little story of sorts that would always lead back to the chorus. I enjoyed the song.

Lyrics!
Thanks Paul.
I just got "LOVE" yesterday.
George Martin mashing Beatles with Beatles, so good!

I struggle a bit with lyrics.
Storytelling is not my strong suit.
I go for the big ideas.
It's something I'm trying to work at.
A middle ground perhaps.

Thanks again.

Elliptical
Lovely song - I like the way it kinda tetters on the edge of being a conventional pop song but doesn't and is all the more exciting because of that. Fine singing and playing.

Ram
I agree with the other comments you're getting. I like KK's description of this teetering on the edge of a conventional pop song, and it definitely has a Paul McCartney (ca. Ram) feel. Very nice job. Wonderful voice, by the way.

thanks kk and cc
I'm becoming a bit more comfortable with the conventional pop song.
However, being a big fan of xtc, i like my pop with a twist.

Thanks for listening.

what a treat
Her Majesty's a prety nice girl but she doesn't have a lot to say...

I read the lyric before I listened and thought "How will you make a song out of this?" and while using your built in mike, you made more than a song... you made a little magic... I love the melody... I'm not sure that the lo-fi is a distraction here... it just show's how strong your whole approach really is... very different and compelling... I would still love to get you in my studio to produce this with great mikes and preamps, but I'm still not sure it would or could be any better...

casual brilliance

thanks!
Thanks for the kind words.
Nothing like a little lo-fi fun!
I rarely have the patience to set alot of stuff up to record.
The next song is always too close behind.

Thanks again.

you have it
Man, you have got it! There's a magical, spiritual element to your nonchalant singing, lo-fi but delicate production, and catchy songwriting that is instantly appealing.

9-9-9-9. Keep pumping 'em out, and I will keep listening!

wow gold

During the night of the 5th of December, the train ran south-easterly for about fifty miles; then rose an equal distance in a north-easterly direction, towards the Great Salt Lake.
Passepartout, about nine o'clock, went wow goldout upon the platform to take the air. The weather was cold, the heavens gray, but it was not snowing. The sun's disc, enlarged by the mist, seemed an enormous ring of gold, and Passepartout was amusing himself by calculating its value in pounds sterling, when he was diverted from this interesting study by a strange-looking personage who made his appearance on the platform.

wow gold
ELIZABETH was wow gold sitting by herself the next morning, and writing to Jane, while Mrs. Collins and Maria were gone on business into the village, when she was startled by a ring at the door, the certain signal of a visitor. As she had heard no carriage, she thought it not unlikely to be Lady Catherine, and under that apprehension was putting awaywow gold her half-finished letter that she might escape all impertinent questions, when the door opened, and to her very great surprise, Mr. Darcy, and Mr. Darcy only, entered the room. He seemed astonished too on finding her alone, wow gold and apologised for his intrusion by letting her know that he had understood all the ladies to be within. They then sat down, and when her enquiries after Rosings were made, seemed in danger of sinking into total silence. It was wow goldabsolutely necessary, therefore, to think of something, and in this emergency recollecting when she had seen him last in Hertfordshire, and feeling curious to know what he would say on the subject of their hasty departure, wow gold
wow gold she observed, "How very suddenly you all quitted Netherfield last November, Mr. Darcy! It must have been a most agreeable surprise to Mr. Bingley to see you all after him so soon; for, if I recollect right, wow gold he went but the day before. He and his sisters were well, I hope, when you left London."

wow gold

The moreworld of warcraft gold I knew of the inmates of Moor House, the better I liked them. In a few days I had so far recovered my health that I could wow posit up all day, and walk out sometimes. I could join with Diana and Mary in all their occupations; converse with them as much wow oras they wished, and aid them when and where they would allow me. There was a reviving pleasure in this intercourse, of a kind now tasted by me for the first time-thebuy wow gold pleasure arising from perfect congeniality of tastes, sentiments, and principles.I liked to read what they liked to read: what they enjoyed, delighted me; what they approved, I reverenced. They loved their sequestered home. I, too, in the grey, small, antique structure, with its low roof, cheap wow gold its latticed casements, its mouldering walls, its avenue of aged firs--all grown aslant under the stress ofwow power leveling mountain winds; its garden, dark with yew and holly--and where no flowers but of the hardiest species would bloom--found wow powerleveling a charm both potent and permanent. They clung to the purple moors behind and around their dwelling--to the hollow vale into which dofus kamasthe pebbly bridle-path leading from their gate descended, and which wound between fern- banks first, and then amongst a few of the wildest little pasture- fields that ever kamas dofusbordered a wilderness of heath,Lord of the Rings Online Gold or gave sustenance to a LOTRO Goldflock of grey moorland sheep, with their little mossy-faced lambs:- they clung to this scene, I say, with a perfect enthusiasm of attachment.
