Description:
"Mother" is one of favorite songs on the "The Wall" by Pink Floyd. I always wanted to create my very own version of the track.

Hardware:
Recording: Yamaha Acoustic Guitar, "Sennheiser MD 441 N" and Shure "SM 58" Microphones, "TASCAM Portastudio 488" analog 8-Track recording machine
dig. Remastering: Apple Macintosh G4 / 400

Software:
dig. Remastering: MacOS 9.2.2, Logic Audio 5

That wouldn't happen to be an FG 331 would it? I just used mine on my newest post. I love cheap Yamaha guitars!!!

I'm kinda disappointed you didn't attempt the electric guitar solo and drum part!!

It's a 20 year old G 228.
The original guitar solo and drum part is so excellent, that I wouldn't dare to
publish an own version. David Gilmour has the ability to make a single note
sound like an adventure. I don't ;-)

I'm quite happy about the "oohs" and "aahs" in my version. Don't they sound
pretty much Floydian?

I love the way your voice changes timbres in different
registers. This is a wonderful acoustic cover. I love that it
has no drums or elec solos. And your oos and ahs are,
indeed, wonderful. Excellent cover.

Hey, pretty good. I gotta be honest, I saw the title and I
had my doubts. Good job. The production is clean and the
performance is pretty consistent.

Now I'm gonna go back and see what else you've posted.

The wall is damn near the best album ever recorded.

Without a doubt the best concept album.

Styx's Paradise theatre is another favorite in that category.

This is a very good cover. I thought you did it justice!
