that is it
That is it feter, you put in words more accurately than I did what I am trying to do. Spiritual night feels is it. Being in the city I miss the country nights, such happy times, such meaning given to life by nature. Yes, I am so happy to have a real microphone. The background sound is an electric box that plays digital samples of the indian drone instrument called tanpura. It is used to accompany north indian classical music. The boxes are made in india so people can give concerts if there is no one to play tanpura.

Vic thanks, I am so happy you liked this piece. I love working with a real microphone. The tanpura is a real inspiration to work with.

Yes definitely the east, birth place of MYSTERIOUS, propogator of MYSTERY. I almost went to India to study the sitar, but spain is just as bewitching, Not to mention the romance of the WEST, Brother to Iberia...THANK YOU!!!

freeform articulation
Interesting juxtaposition of soulful, intelligent invention and a looping Cicada drone (or perhaps humming powers lines on a very hot summer day). Like a dragonfly dancing around a sunbaked rock -- the rock jealous of freeform articulation.

Yes Richard...
There is a certain beauty in restraint, the subtle beauty, in explosion heald back...Dynamic Tension. Thank You.

Moorish
Nice playing Ian - took me to southern Spain, a Moorish Alhambra, cool room, water flowing through the perfectly carved channels in the floor. Very relaxing and mesmerising.
Peace,
Neil

Yes Jiguma...
The Alhambra, I have been there too, seen the water flow down the garden handrails. Exactly what I was doing, the mosaic carved into the castle walls, lattice like patterns with repeating nodes, a tool for inducing trance where meaningul answers to life's mystery can be found, so made because Islam forbids image rendering of Allah. Thank You.
