Description:
This song was written in 93 in one burst. I sat down and it came out just like this. Almost. My son Dave is playing the fretlass bass, and his brother Joe is slinging the Tele, as usual. Joe also played the trumpet in school band, in case you were wondering..

Understated, and soothing... and great singing... your whole sound is uniquely yours... I'm a big fan, and will always listen to what you're doing... and this is how you make music... Joes tele work is perfect... nobody is showin off here... all parts work together toward the whole...

you guys...to my taste and ears, are amongst the best of all the independent music makers. The material is always deep, soulful, exquisitly played and recorded.....I would love to hang out with this family for a day or two and make music. (I would do the cooking so none would go hungry....I am assuming you all like italian food).

Like everyone else so far, I'm a big fan. It all seems so effortless from this end - you don't need me to tell you that you have a great voice Wal (and the boys seem to know which way to hold their instruments). First class production too! Not fair!

Dig the relaxed vibe. I simply love your tracks, your choices, your personality that comes thru The pitchiness on the word "your" and "I" a couple of times was my only negative reaction, as if you were too tired to sing it as well as you normally do, which is a tad at variance to the concept of the song (always having enough energy to m be there), even tho it is relaxed. Such a beautiful rise in your line into "spirit", thrilling. Wonderful lines. Refreshing track. [ Reply to This ]
