Description:
Many thanks to JOAN (Wally/Kevlar) for giving Thanks a new spin. It's great to see how our children change and grow. Any Turkey left?
Walter writes: since i lost the original file with all the tracks i'm not sure i can
remember what happened. i doubled your track and added effects. put
on a drum track of mine from the last joan session and ran it through
quarter pulse. also a track of a field recording of african tribal
drumming that was later run through celestial strings filter.
some other stuff i don't remember. by that point it was most
unlistenable. Kevlar - vocals, guitar, and who knows what else.

Lyrics:
i don't want to ride
on the ridge of sight
if the  road is high
then i know i am all right

is  the  rising iron
the ridge i can not find
every morning's aching now
i  see the earth the  ridge and   sun

if i  can holler about the  sea  and hurt you
and i don't  walkie talkie in your  eyes
i could be watching as i hurt  you
but i'm not half of what you know  as your  kind

if you rise toward
do i look  down upon you
do you offer  what you think
and i move on toward you

can i  get all inside?
i was on the road
but i could  not  divide
but i do not bestow

everything  is fine
the slain king of my mind
catch you reeking mine
the why  do what you owe

you fuggin freakin take too long
and i could not divide
let you know precise

i  could not  get your body out of my mind
i could not get your body out of my mind
i should have bet you  metamorphosize
i could  not get it out of my  mind
the situation is hard to find
i could not get it out of my mind
i could not get you out of my mind

Samba! Don't know if you guys have ever listened to Samba.... You will be amazed, this will fit right into Carnaval time in Brazil where I grew up.

Enjoyed it very much!

I'm not sure what's going on here with the musical geneaology, but I love the track. I'll have to do some research (what the original sounds like) but regardless, I really like the groove thats going on. The vocals are crazy great. I could listen to this all f*ckin day.

All day? &mdash 12/02/06 - 01:28:57 PM
My doctor advised me against that. I didn't heed his advice and now I'm addicted to Macjams. Be careful.

Thank Wally for that &mdash 12/02/06 - 01:30:55 PM
This started in Brooklyn and took a trip upstate. Then Wally and Kevlar laid their trips on it.

I can honestly say that I've never heard anything like this!

Man, the parts of my brain that have laid dormant for years are now wide awake.

Thanks!
