Nine Songs &mdash 11/28/06 - 09:12:01 PM
Very interesting project. I have trouble recording 9 notes in one day, so 9 songs on the ep looks like a lot to me. I went ahead and downloaded all 9 and listened 3 times through while doing something else. The songs work well together while offering good variety. The "Punk Jazz" genre is cool with its bass, guitar, horn and drum combo with very little artificial funny business.

Why . . . &mdash 11/28/06 - 10:40:47 PM
thank you. I'm glad you like it. I do too. I'm having a hard time finding musicians interested in playing this kind of music live, which leaves me noodling around in my hard drive, trying to avoid that artificial funny business you speak of.
Thanks for listening,

Nice attitude! &mdash 01/07/07 - 07:05:35 AM
Great, all moods are passing here, which I like a lot. Agression as a mood is usually lacking in music and it's so clearly present if it's not happening during the whole song! Here's my argument that Heavy Metal or Hard Rock are not agressive or even 'heavy' at all, although I really like that music at times. I adore the FreeJazz & Punk attitude, and it's a great balance between smooth and free! [ Reply to This ]
"I am a synthesizer." &mdash 01/14/07 - 03:12:42 PM
Contrary to Datafunk's tune, posted some time ago, I 've been seeking to synthesize a fusion of punk and jazz for some time. I'm glad you like it, Oniblah.
I'll keep playing if you keep listening.
