Description
Movement XI of my Rock Symphony. Very haunting meoldies with strings, brass, chorus, bells and of course guitars. Imagine Beethoven and Trans-Siberian collaborating on a compositon.

Whoa Nelly!
Great stuff here man! Jaw dropping! Yes...symphony is an apt description. Like a soundtrack to a blockbuster movie. Wonderful array of sounds and textures. This could also qualify as prog-rock. FAVED!

Be well!

terrific soundscape
your description was right on. liked how you used the guitars on a textural basis. and constrant not to solo til close to the end. i'ld would of been itching to get in there because the song has great chordal structure. great piece of work!

Definite TSO influence
Very nice driving theme, good orchestration, and nice guitar playing throughout. Has a bit of the TSO theatrical musical quality. The orchestration is slightly muddy however. I think you need to move stuff out of the midrange... need more bassy cellos and more high strings/flutes, and more harmonies, many of the notes are just octaves apart and on the same beat, causing things to mush together a bit. But those are sort of minor quibbles... overall this is compelling, and quite a bit of work, I can tell! It sounds quite nice!

thanks!!!
hahahahaha you know what i find extremely funny? is that everyone describes it as very TSO oriented/influenced, and i've only listened to them once, and it was about 5 years ago, and at that time i wasnt impressed. probably because i thought the greatest band in the world at that time was blink-182, but that's neither here nor there. but i like describing as TSO because poeple immediately connect with that and feel more compelled to listen to it, so i don't really care being compared to them!!

thanks for the critique!!! the only reason there are a lot of octaves is because i did it all on keyboard and my keyboard playing skills leave much to be desired!! hahahaha maybe someday ill get better!!!

talk to you later!!
