Description
A most beautiful, pure, form to work with called seguirillas, in flamenco, or perhaps better said to be a form of "deep song" as the gypsy people of Spain call their music. This is me simply improvising to a chord progression I wrote for the 12 beat cycle of this marvelous, ancient form.

glad
Feter, I am glad you think that of this piece, thank you, because it where I feel I am sort of entering the realm of jazz, pushing knowledge for creativity, substituting intuition for reason.

Fantastico!
I have heard this style, but didn't know it was linked to the gypsies of Spain. Wonderful playing as usual Ian.

God bless,

Rick

Beautiful
I love improvised pieces. The guitar sound is nice and I love the overall effect on headphones. Well done. Ian, do I know you from somewhere? Your pic and name sound very familiar...

Nice song IB
Spanish influence is very soothing to me. Thought you might flash a quick rythm in there, but non the less some nice balance in this piece, with the rythm underlying, makes for a nice sound-MJG

Thanks
So happy to know there are other admirers of Spanish music out there, next time I will flash in a little bit more rythm, at any rate, thank you for the kind words, I was pretty happy with this myself, I kind of thought there was a nice balance to to this too, that is the moment was right for improvisation in this form.
